    77.5mph!!!

After 3 days and 3 prop bends. Finally got rpm solid at 8100.

    Mods are as follows.

    riva intake "3 inch"
riva grate, pro block offs, no wedge!
Rad performance manifold spacer and j-pipe flange mod.
Pirhana IC and rear exhaust through standard outlet.
    New Les Cooke A wheel
    42lb injectors, stock ECU
    Reverse bucket removed
15/20R with trailing edge bent a lot "pitch added"
handle bar extensions and finger trottle

It does not like to rev over 8200. It just falls flat on its nose.

So, there you go, no secrets! Same water, same rider, same gas, same gps. Pretty happy!!

I put a 15/20R in that I had taken a 1.0 to 1.5mm out of the trailing edge and it was pulling 8200 and flat as a terd @ 74 mph. Put the trailing edge back to horizontal (flatter than when it came out of the box) and revs came down to 8150 and mph went up to 76.5. Added another 1.5mm and revs came down to 8100 speed to 77.5. Stock ECU must fall off rapidly after 8100. I had a borrowed 15/20 pulling 7900 @ 76.4. Best rpm for stock ECU must be between 8000 and 8100.

That is on a 05 ski correct? The 06 has a ligher limit, but maybe the power band as you describe is the same... I dunno...I am going to try a couple different things tomorrow...
