Hope you purchased one of the Sony Camcorders that will fit in the new Sony UW case model number SPK-HCA. This case takes most of the DCR-DVD abd DCR-HC model cameras. The case looks fantastic. It is small and lightweight and is water proof to a depth of over 16 feet. Perfect for PWC use !!. So far the bestprice I could find on it is at B&H Photo @ $149.95. Give them a call 800-947 1175. I recently bought a $3,000 Cannon pro camcorder....wish I had known about this case before hand. I'm scared to take the Cannon out on a ride. Too big an investment to chance dunking.

    Richard,
I bought a Sony MinDV handycam that is about the size of a regular (old) digital camera! I bought it from best buy online. I wanted a small video camera that was inexpensive but I did not expect this for $350! I'll probably break it snow skiing anyway, if not come spring in the water... I hope that will work. It is a pretty nice camera for the money.

GREAT...did the price for the UW case go down to $129? I have the pre Holiday Catalog from B&H and it was $149.95 in it. If so I think I just talked myself into getting another camcorder and the UW case. I have a habit of dropping things overboard and would definitely need the case.

Thanks so much Richard! Ive had a sony handycam for a few years now and have always pondered a way to shoot video on the ski without having to worry about it getting wet! 200 bucks is worth it IMO!

I alwas get myself in trouble on the computer. It's too easy to "spend" money just by clicking the mouse....I just ordered a Sony DCR-HC90 Camcorder, The underwater case, extra battery, remote AC charger, lens UV filter, Memory Stick Pro and 5 tapes from B&H for the sum of $1037.15.
Well at least if I drop it in the water it will float !!!!
