    new shorelandr double trailer

    Just picked up my new shorelandr double trailer saturday and dam there's alot of tonge weight I guess that's how it has it set on trailer.

    Are there any adjustments for the axle? Can you slide the skis back any? You should be able to lift the weight of the trailer with skis on it. To much weight to the back will casue fish tail action on the road.

    If the post are adjustable it appears you have bunk space to slide back.

    Yes,I can adjust the axle to the front but can't really push the doo's back any.

    The first picture looks like you have about a foot of spare bunk on the rear. The second picture shows inside holes for front post adjustment. If so this is the easy way to get weight off the front. If you go to drive on scales you can weigh the trailer and skis unhooked from your tow truck. Then weight with the tongue off the scales also unhooked from truck. The diiference is tongue weight.

    you can see the hole pre-drilled for the hangers for the springs and axle to mvoe them up like 4 inches... try that

    Thanks,I'll try pushing them back a little first and see what it will do.
