    Question anbout filling ride plate holes???

    Filled mine yesterday with an epoxy from the local auto parts store and let it sit over 24 hours. Went to ride today and all the expoxy is gone. lol. What the heck am I doing wrong? Maybe a bad batch of Epoxy?

    Did you clean the holes good to give the epoxy something to adhere to?

    what kind of epoxy was it? if it was in a small tube, and was 2 colors, did you knead it to an even color then apply?

    It was like a grey color. I probably did not apply it right. I think I will use a 2 part expoxy next time. I know how to use that.

    I picked up a stick called WATERWELD from my auto store, $2...DONE

    PC-11 marine grade epoxy at home depot for 3 fiddy. Good stuff...dont forget to cover the bolt heads with duck tape first

    Thanks RXP Steve. I will pick some up tomorrow. Is there anything special I have to do with this stuff when putting it on? Need to mix it or rough it up or what?
