Properly set up GPR with those mods should have the RXP on top, but out of the hole the RXP will kill it.

I'd say really close but RXP take the holeshot.... It depends alot on what exactly each ski has.... A "regular" stage 2 rxp will run about 73-75 depending. There are sum simple things that can be done on both ski's to gain so I dunno????

I raced a Riva Stage 2 RXP, and we were dead nutz, that was with "Stock compression stage II head", and no keyway. stage 2 don't have the Racing ECU i think, the ECU is what Puts the RXP way up thier in speed IMO.

they are both great ski's....the yamaha handles like an agile cat and the rxp is a brutal monster on launch. just get one of each.lol..rxp is more stable while sitting still or riding 2-up.....I prefer the gpr mainly because thats what in used to riding, but i still enjoy riding an rxp on occasions. you need to ride both and form your own opinion....I truly beleive that the yamaha will be more reliable modded than a modded rxp..stock to stock its a toss-up ,rxp is faster stock.

Mainly because the GPR hull is a superior hull design and faster with the same hp. It takes a lot more horsepower to push the RXP hull to speed.
