    Remove Trim Pieces

does anyone know how to remove the black trim pieces on the top deck of an slx? i took out the bolts that were holding them on, but there are those clips or something holding them in also. i dont want to just try and pry the trim off because i dont want them to break. anyone know how its done without disaster??

They are riveted and stuck on with double sided tape. Gotta drill the rivets and carefully peel them off.

No, from the outside. Remove the plastic plugs with a flatblade. Just don't drill past the head of the rivet, or you wont be able to secure them again. Use a bit a little larger in diameter than the shank of the rivet.

once you drill out the rivets warm them up with a heat gun or your sisters hair dryer .
