    2001 pro 1200 cylinders

    these are the cylinders off of the 2001 pro 1200 that i bought in the classifieds.... do they look ported? different? just tryin to assess what i got..

    They look stock to me. Look at all of tha casting slag. I can't see the top of the exhaust. What to the bottom's look like. I have some ported #'s for you. These are all close. Exhaust 34.93 mm Intake 55.55mm Side 54.06 Sorry do not have a stock 1200 cylinder to measure.

    top of piston says 84.81 and there from austria... is that stock?

    so its just a stock cylinder bored out to hold the snowmobile pistons?

    do u have to run different heads with these?

    yes you need to run diffrent heads. the dome angle on the snow piston is different than the pwc. pwc is 9 degrees and the snow is 11 degrees.
    i know where you can buy the right heads!

    lets see some pics of the bottom of the cylinder and cases. looks like there is no porting done to those cylinders to me.

    P.S. what are you doing with the pipes in that boat? I know Del would love to buy them if you are not going to run them.

    i got the domes...1 set is 3021122
    other set is 3022050

    i havent pulled the cases apart yet..gotta get the flywheel off..
    tommorrow for SURE!!

    What Jay means is that you have to have the head's squish angle changed to match the steeper snow piston...usually about 1deg more than the piston...otherwise, you can run into problems.

    left is 1050 head i believe
    right is 1200 head.....

    have they been modified/cut??
