Flooding of engine through modded waterbox

So I am going to completely gut my waterbox (Jerry's tip of the day waterbox mod + cutting box short + complete gutting of baffles). Will this cause water to flood the engine while parked on water or cause the whole waterbox to completely fill up and cause starting problems if it is gutted? Oh, this is also done WITH the STOCK exhaust piping. What are the drawbacks you all can see here?

I modded mine and have had zero problems.... It has logged about 6 hours since the mod to the waterbox...
