    Simple tip.

When tuning your ski try wearing ear plugs. It sounds crazy but it actually works. I figured this out a while back with ATVs . When my helmet was on I could hear pinging from slight detonation, without the helmet it could'nt be heard. I've talked to others that have noticed the same thing. So I started started using earplugs and sometimes plugs and muffs when tuning anything with an engine.

You wont believe how much better you can feel and hear what the engine is doing. It takes away the noise and alot of the speed sensation to let you concentrate better.

Dont knock it until you try it.

    Good thought
I worked in factorys for years and what your saying about ear plug is true. they filter out the massive noise.
    I will try it!

With ear plugs in I can hear deto with the seat off. I guess they filter out the frequencies normaly canceled out by other noises. Its also amazing all the other things yo can hear going on in the hull.
