    Replacing Bunk boards

Any suggestions on new boards? I used rough cut true dimension 2 x 4 and they still warp over time. Want some strength and thinking maybe adding metal t bar under neath. Or should I just give up and expect to replace them every few years?

I'd settle on the chore of replacing every so often, as this "warping" you refer to are the boards better conforming and equally distributing the load - aka no high pressure-points on the hull. Course when they warp too bad, its counter-productive.

Check with a Triton dealer for ready made bunks with aluminum L bracket, adding strength to the bunks and minimize warping.

Look on line and buy some roller bunks with rubber wheels

From what i read those roller bunks aren't any good for your hull. Im interested in the bunk glides that bolt to top of bunks, they seem alittle pricey but since i load and unload my skis everytime i run them (they sit in the garage on a stand) it takes a toll on me unloading them and the winches. Does anyone have any experience with this product?

Yeah I've used them. It does work very well to glide on and off. My complaint is they mark up the gel coat from sliding on and off. I haven't used a new set in several years so maybe they have gotten better.

Not all skis are created equal - specifically speaking of any Yamaha owners that find this thread. Caution no gelcoat, just clear coat bottoms which are typically too soft for HDPE (glide boards). For these skis your are better off sticking with the tried true and proven carpeted boards.

I gotta seek other options then, those glide bunks are pretty pricey
