Actually I did get it. I posted it here and thought someone would get to it, but no one did so I called the guy and he said he still had it. If I want it come and get it. I've got a valid reg for the ski, but not the trailer. I ended up paying for him to get the updated registration, but it was worth it. I brought it home, put a battery in, removed the really rusted bolts from the CDI box to check the electrical, drained the gas, changed the plugs, reset the security, and the damn thing fired up! Its got a few issues to work out. Blows out some pretty thick white smoke on throttle running thick, a little oil through the exhaust but not too concerned about it, and it stalls on idle, pretty frozen steering and frozen manual trim. So I have a few things to work on, but its fine with me.I started a thread in the Yami 2 stroke section for troubleshooting. I am by no means a jet ski mechanic, but I figured with some help from GH and a couple of friends, I got basically free ski that can be used as a friend ski this summer.
