    Smile prop for 05 1300

which prop would be best for an 05 1300, I really don't care if I lose some top end, I am mainly wanting lots of accelearation but also I don't want to run to high of rpm where it would be hard on the engine. I like to drag race on flat water.the motor is stock, I have intake grate, pump shoe kit, d-plate and have a free flow which I might install I want the ski still to be dependable thanks ERIC

The only retail prop out right now for the 05 up gpr's is the 14/20 solas dynafly. It's a steep pitch. most STOCK gprs cant turn it and maintain a decent rpm level. You will most likely drop below 7000rpm.The dynaflys cant be de-pitched from 14/20.

Philip on this forum has a solas 13/20 that will fit for sale on ebay.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Solas...mZ320097118237

I dont know anything about this prop. Im guessing its an experimental prop given to him by solas to test. His skis are modified,so im sure its underpitched for him.

    Its worth a shot.

They can be repitched! But Impros has 13/19 dy's for sell now. I am thinking about buying one my self to try out.

So I would now recommend for a STOCK motor 05+ or even 2003+ with pump upgrade a Solas 13/19 DY from them.

In your position I would keep the stock prop and spend that money on a ride plate instead. You will plane out faster and gain top speed as well. Best bang for the buck hands down.

WFO has one for sale that already has the famous FF mod done.
