13/19R vs 14/17R
I tried a 13/19 prop out. I didn't like the results. I went from 8100 to 7500 RPM. I think with less acceleration. I'm running pretty much a stage 2 with out the wedge. I don't have a GPS. I use the RPS, Dream o meter and my Butt o meter.
With the 14/17 i was at 8100-8150 RPM. Acceleration seemed good. The dream o meter was pegged at 70.
With the 13/19 I was at 7400-7500. Acceration seem less. THe dream o meter stoped at 68 max.
Looks like i'll go back to my 14/17. I though i would have been able to turn the 13/19 with the mods i have.

Thats a huge drop.
I have a 2 degree wedge on my RXT dont expect more than 30 - 40 rpm increase with that.
8100-8150 is not bad I would stick to that until you get more mods on.

I run the 13/18 skat 3 blade and will never go back to a 4 blade. The acceleration and holeshot is much better than the 14/17 or 14/19. I've tried all 3 and took out about 2mm out of the 3 blade and my rpm is around 8000-8050. But if your looking for pure speed and not acclleration, go with the 14/19 4 blade.

you should be able to turn that prop with your mods, the intercooler and SC wheel should be enough for where you are located I was running a 14/19.5 but I was running the RR sc wheel and Riva intercooler have you had that 13/19 checked

I would take grunt & hook up over .5 mph top speed any day!

I think i'm going to stick with my 14/17. Don't have any more cash for more mods. I don't think i want to go any further with what i have. I think i'm going to just enjoy what i got. With rumors of the new 08's having more hp from the factory i'll wait and see what comes out. For more speed i think a future with a RXP is a better choice rather than going deeper into my current RXT.
Anyone Need/ want to try a 13/19R? For sale!

Like I said in another post, with your setup (basically a Riva Stage II), you should be able to spin a Riva/Solas 13-19r to 8100 RPM or close.
With my setup (Riva Stage II on 05 RXT) in 1,200' elevation in high heat and 80 degree water temps in the middle of summer I was turning 8100 RPM just over 70Mph.
Have you checked for air leaks on the IC tubes, IC blockoff, etc? Partially clogged IC? Pump liner? Something just doesn't sound right.
If you are going to stay with the stock ECU, I wouldn't make the move to the 3 blade as they don't shine until you move up into the higher RPMs. Get your boat sorted out and the 13-19r should be the ticket.
