    GP1300R big bore ?

    I know there is bigbore for the gp1200r's, do they have it for the gp1300r ?

    Anyone got any info ?

    Yes you can do up to a 1490 with the 1300 cylinders. There are quite a few 1390-1300's on this site, they can probably give you more info.

    Im looking for info on GP1300R (1490BB).

    Like whats needed, approx costs etc.

    I just made a huge post that didn't go through so...3000 to go from 1300 1490, and thats a rough estimate

    I was quoted a little over $1600 from Lowell for all labor associated with it. This did not include pistons, which run about $175 a piece.

    Was that 1300 to 1390?

    Should be 1300 -> 1490

    Basically a GP1500R

    you cant run EFI with 1500, so you have to buy:

    carbs 600
    1200 electronics 300
    advent or riva ecu 400

    it starts to add up fast.

    Your right, sorry.
    I would think you could do this cheeper buy selling your 1300 top end with partial trade to someone with a 1200 for their 1200 cylinders. Send those cylinders in and have them bored to 1490.
    Just a thought.

    Yeah, good luck with that...

    And you can forget about fuel injection going that big.
