Recommendations for '03 SC 4-TEC Mods

OK, starting plans for spending my spring ski mod allowance and looking for ideas/recommendations. You can see my current mods below in my signature. I am setting my limits at ~$500 and want to stay out of the engine if possible. What I was considering is the Riva Power Filter and possibly the Rotax Racing Exhaust. My supercharger still has all the stock parts so that is an option but I was thinking about waiting until I need to do the clutch and use the while I'm in there excuse to switch to the other SC.

    With that said, suggest away.

Power filter will probably give you the most bang for the buck, for under$500...

Help that engine breathe. Go for the power filter and thru hull exhaust.

Or save some money and make your own air intake. Some of the guys here have some pretty nice and relatively cheap air intakes. Use the money saved to get a Vortech SC impeller.

Ditto on the homemade intake. There's really nothing to it and almost anything is better than stock. Many people have bought the Riva kit and hacked it up in search of more gains through better routing of the pipe.

Sounds like air and then maybe exhaust is the route. I'll have to look into the do it yourself option. Oh well, I need something to keep me busy in the winter while I wait to pull it from storage.

    Thanks for confirming my thoughts,

    Mark
