    Could it catch me?

    I was running around through down town monroe, la and noticed something i have never seen before...a police jet ski lol... you think it would catch me

    what model is this and what do they run?

    Thats an 1100 ZXI & it better be modified to use as a PoPo ski. NO, you would smoke it no matter how heavily it was modified.

    Actually that is a 99 Ultra 150. They ran between 64-66 stock. The 99 was the fastest year of the ultra. They had a different ignition than the later models. The spark plugs cost $15.00 a piece for the 99's.

    so it would not be very far behind my stock rxp.....not that I plan on trying to run from the popos lol

    Oops, My bad, at a glance it looked like the zxi. I see the curve in the top of the bow now & the glove box is at an angle, the zxi is flat. Sheesh, I should know better, I had a zxi.

    If this were to happen, all you would need to do is get into a little chop and you would leave him way behind, assuming the ski was bone stock.
    I have 2 2000s and they are quick out of the hole but a b!tch in chop. Riding in the chop on a stock Ultra separates the men from the boys.

    LOL since it has not been registered since 05 I doubt I will see it out on the water this summer........who am I kidding who is going to give the cops a ticket for the registration being out
