Angry Trip to MudBug ends before it begins - w/pics

I was installing gas valves this weekend and decided to check my piston wash while everything was apart. To my horror when I took the head off I found that the rear cylinder was dead. I guess it was better to blow it up at home then drive 2800 miles and do it first day out. Which would explain why my machine has been running crapy latley. So that makes my trip to Bug pretty much dead in the water from the get go! Which really sucks because I was ready to go on Thursday night, truck was ready, camper was stocked and trailer has all new bearings. So I will be there next year for sure!!! The good news is that I have decided to go Big Bore Guess I will be sending everything off to Group K.

The cylinder walls are deeply gouged and need to be replated.

If it's NOT ported, Millenium Technologies has a "swap" program, as long as your cylinder is repairable (which it looks like it is.)

IF you can not get a cyl there. You can stop at my house in Ohio. I have a good cyl and piston that we can put in there.

Let me know if you are going to stop or not. I think I even might have some of the gaskets. I am off during the days so we could get it together quick. I have all the tools you would need. If that is the way you want to go let me know and I will PM my address and you can give me your plans as far as times.
