Why not thread and install a screw in plug for the metal nozzle too?

Just pull it out of itís housing attached to the hull, cut the tube by a few inches and let it shoot into the water. People say it doesnít do anything, but why risk it.

I did then I was looking at the scoop left inside so I filled the top and bottom with devcon and grinding the top flush once it hardens. Just seems like only the plug with the inside scoop left would create more turbulence then anything

Get a inline tap fitted to the hose Iv done so, when Iím out with mates playing I always keep it on and it does make you a lot more visible only time I turn mine off is on the very rare occasion when I tow or when Iím racing

I have mine with a valve - able to turn the water-flag on/off at will. Something else I do is just crack it open just enough that allows me to look back at it now & then to monitor the jet pressures.

On an other note, I would enjoy entertaining a mod to make it shoot higher if possible. I think this would entail replacing the oem thru hull spray port with something that can shoot a much more stable stream of water. Would need a short section of pipe at the exit with tiny baffle veins inside perhaps.
