Took my 00' GP1200r out for the first time. It had like half the power
40mph/5000rpms. Shut it off and then it ran fine 60-65/7000rpms.
Then it cut out on me a couple of times and went back to no power.
So I head back to shore and I hear what sounds like bee-bees moving
around in the engine, then it died, not even able to turn it over.
So I pulled the plugs and the cylinder closest to the back has metal
chunks on top of the piston, and I found bigger chunks in the bottom
of the hull. I'm new to this, new engine with 10hrs, premix, craft
has 130 total hrs and is Riva Stg 2. What do you think happened?

Chunks in the hull? It's ugly, sorry bud. You busted your crank and knocked a hole in your case. At a minimum you will need new cases, crank, piston, cylinder, probably a head too. Unless the motor is under warranty from where you got it, it's probably best if you start shopping around for another motor. Don't let a dealer talk you into letting them fix it, they will charge you as much as it would cost to get another ski.
