    Riva power filter

I installed the filter. I am having some trouble gettin the engine vent tube to go on the nipple on the pipe. I try to bend it to fit and it seems to get a little kink in it.
Has anyone installed this on a 05 RXT?

Try switching the ends of the hose (vent tube end to filter/filter end to vent tube). Seems like I did this once and it minimized the kinking... not sure though

Why not install a catch can to prevent pumping oil into the air intake?

I tried both ends of hose, Here are pics of how much the hose kinks. Defeats the purpose of the hose even being hooked up??

I ended up using the short hose that came with the filter kit. It is about 6-8" long and has a j type of bend in it on one end and a nipple to splice into the oem vent hose. J bend hooked up to the filter tube, other end spliced into the oem hose. Ended up straight with out kinks.
