    Engine Assembly Question

What do you guys do about the bead of excess case sealant that forms on the inside when you put the two case halves together? I tried to get most of it out, but couldn't get to it all.

Unless you went really crazy with the silicone you will be fine.

Didn't go too crazy. Bead is maybe 1/16th of an inch or a little larger in some places. I was worried about a small chunk breaking loose and plugging an oiling hole in the crank or something.

    I'm probably just being paranoid.

You can use a razor or exacto knife and trim the excess.

You might lose 30rpm due to the lesser case volume.
