good memorial day weekend!
Although it's not running perfect yet, I banged out a 61.8 on 87 octane, stock compression, and a long ass, warped riva groovy rideplate

Thanks guys. I couldn't have goten to this point without this awesome community here
I just finished rejetting the carbs. . .again and checking the piston wash. It was waaaayyyy rich. also my new tach finally showed up, so I am planning on hitting the lake tomorrow after work.
I am aiming for about 6900rpm's with an 11/17 solas J. does that sound reasonable?

Can't find my old carb jetting notes, addicted. My wife packed up a bunch of stuff when we were supposed to move. I guess my paperwork was some of that stuff.
What did you end up with?

no problem J-me. With this setup, I am pretty much on my own. My polaris is the same way. just flame arrestors and I needed to jet up almost 20 points
Today I dropped the mains to 110's and put stock gp12 pilots, 100,97.5 & 95. Popoff was 32 and seems to work well.
