    Question on RIVA intake grate

The RIVA intake grate I put on my RXT seems to hang down a bit at the back where it scoops the water in.

The stock grate sits up in the hull much better. Is this normal? Do I need to grind on it so it fits better

You could but I`ve learned just leave it alone. If its the rear then its ok.

the riva grate i put on my 04 RXP fit in there nice and flush, the one i put on the 06 needed to be shortened at the back so it would fit past the ride plate and sit flush so bolts would line up..

do not take away thickness of the grate...
