playin, first I'd like to say WELCOME to the green Hulk Forums!!!

    Change the fuel, most important.
If it were mine I'd take th carbs and fuel pumps apart and clean them thoroughly making sure there is no gelled fuel or garbage in the fuel system.
Lube ALL cable, throttles barrels etc. anything that moves should be lubed.
Gotta run but I'm sure others will easily add some thing for you to do. LOL.

He pretty much got it. ^^^^ But I would SERIOUSLY consider replacing a few items like fuel lines, fuel selector valve, and rebuild or replace the fuel pump. OH, and welcome to the Hulk.

the local shop said we should rebuild the carb and they wanted $700 to do it? Any need for a carb rebuild?

I would rebuild them. But not for there prices for sure. If you have any skills, take them on yourself and save $500.
