Picked up 150RPM by adjusting AFR from 11.9 to 12.2

I wasn’t sure what he meant either. I think I can get 88 on an empty tank haha. Water temps in the 40s somewhere. Air temp was 73°.

From full tank to low fuel is worth about 2ish mph.

40s Water Temp. That explains a few things. That'll definitely shrink the ole jimmy if you fall in.

Bring that thing to Florida in the summer and you'll only dream of running 75mph.

Or maybe I’ll move to Connecticut, the weather condiions seem delightful for going fast. Or skis will be down 400-500rpm in a few months.

You guys are really living the dream up there in CT.

Seems like I remember the VTech guys running 80mph with just a flash back when the PX300 just came out. I think the water temp was in the 30's in Sweden.

11.9. To 12.2. 150rpm .... something else is going on. I wouldn’t consider 11.9 pig rich for where your at. Low 12s is better. I went from 12.4 to 12.7 sitting on my ski tunning and got no rpm increase

Seadoo is not like Yamaha ( which like to run a little bit rich)...On seadoo 11.9 is way too rich...you will get also fuel in the oil if you run that AFR.


The best performance on Seadoo comes with 12.8 to 12.9...if you want to be more comfortable or just more confindent in the reliability run 12.5...less than that on seadoo is rich.


Between run 11.9 and 12.8 you can get even 500RPM more on seadoos
