broken record, need help with reed valves really quick
they come with 6 gaskets each...Not sure where the gaskets are located for the 2nd set. Original reed valves had rubber around them...do I need high temp silicone? Do I trim the gaskets to fit around the reed valves? The motor is out...the quicker the response the better. Thanks

You have gaskets for the front and back of the reed plate. You will have to trim the rear gaskets so that the reed boxes clear. Lay the gaskets on a piece of wood, then lay the spacer on top, lining up the bolt holes. Use a razor blade to trim the insides of the gasket so the reeds will fit thru.
Use a very thin layer of grease on the gaskets.
