    Transducer Fitted in Ride Plate

    If you are debating thru hull or transom mount you might like to consider a third option...

    Obviously a first time post - would welcome guidance on how to display video link properly...

    Welcome

    Upload video to YouTube first (or Vimeo, etc), then insert link here to the video.

    Thank you! Video has been live on YouTube for a while - but when I try the various ways to insert link in post I just get a black box??? Really appreciate you taking the time to help.

    It can take a while for YouTube to finish preparing the video for sharing.

    It is working now, for me. Nicely done.

    I also have Worx ride plate on GP1800 but I mounted my Garmin transducer inline and behind the ride plate rear edge, directly below the pump nozzle.

    I have made a number of other changes, including adding elastic cord to hold the glovebox lid open.
