Any Firearms fanatics in the house?

As some of you know, I've been trying to settle the damage for my wrecked ski.
Well the owner of the other ski has little or no money, and offered a S&W .44mag and an Armalite AR-15.

I know the .44, my neighbor has the Dirty Harry special.
But the Armalite, I know nothing about. I know it's post-ban, and not the Kalifornia model.

Anyone want to take a stab at the worth? I have no use for weapons, and will probably sell em.

If these aren't worth what I think, then I'll look for another solution.
    Two days and counting.

Go to gunsamerica.com or gunbroker.com and see what they are going for. I am sure that you will find at least one of each there.

    Muchos Gracias.

Not quite what I thought. It's worth ~$850-900 new, plus the bull barrel and scope.

revolver should fetch between 4 and 6 hundo. the AR maybe around a grand. depends on alot of things. Just like any other used item.

What kind of car does he have?
Maybe make him take a loan to cover you costs, and put a lien on his house to cover it? if that's even possible?

He tried to get a loan (or so he says).
I partially believe he's trying to lo-ball me. But on the other hand, he's been honorable so far. It's anyones guess.
I may ask for the doo in *as-is* condition. They seem to think it has a starter issue.
But, cash, so far seems to be hard to get for this guy.

Also, he wasn't the other rider, but rather the owner of the ski, and father of the riders. So I would actually have to take all three to court to try to get any money.
