    burnt piston

    1995 sl750 burned a hole in the front piston. carb looks good & clean any thoughts?

    If it is still the original fuel pump, it's time to upgrade. Lots of problems with the original ones.

    If it turns out to be a lean running condition be sure to replace all fuel lines, including those at the fuel sender, fuel selector switch and fuel pump.
    The restriction in the lines and the blockage at the selector switch are common problems and need to be addressed regardless.
    I like to run the triple outlet pump, direction for hook up are in the tech section under Fuji Fuel and look for triple outlet pump.

    im trying to keep this a low budget repair if at all possible i dont know much about pwc's yet but am very mechanicly inclined
