creative thinking, yes.... but are you running an external intercooler WITH this? or are you ONLY running this contraption?

If that's your ONLY means of an intercooler, that ain't gonna do crap to be honest. That doesn't contact the air enough to cool it, if at all.

    Somebody beat me to it!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to do this along with the Vortec IC, I do not see how it can hurt?

If it droped the air 10 degrees it would be a help?

    Who did this??

I'm not sayin it's not worth a shot but i'll agree with Shibby on this one. I don't think this is going to have enough surface area to make a difference. But hell if you built it then go for it .

HA! you don't even wanna know!!!!! we had this house built, been here 16 years now... EASILY had 18-22 copper pipe leaks. they constantly are getting pin holes in them, and u dunt knwo it till u see the water stains on the ceilings or water on the floor coming from nuder the wall, etc...

it's a local thing tho... all the neighbors and local developments all built at the same time same time frame have the same issue. but luckily we haven't had a leak in probably 4 years now. little by little my dad has ripped every pipe out of the house and re-done it all.

altho it's not the soder... it's jsut in the middle of a straight run of pipe in our house

I would not have used copper I thought about aluminum and have it welded.

The thought was to have something to take up space as we have all wanted but the little bit of cooling could not hurt.
