Does this sound like fouled plugs?

OK here's the deal, my doo has been sitting for 2 weeks. I know that's totally not acceptable. It's been raining for most of the two weeks. I finally get out to the lake today and fire up the Doo, take her out and what do I get? 6400RPM's and 53-54mph. I have an 05 GTX Limited, SCIC, no mods, everything just tuned up and inspected 2 months ago by dealer. No warning lights, I could see small amounts of water in the engine area, and it would hit the 8000RPMs under no load. Under load, like I said, 6400RPM and 54-55mph. The last time it did this was 2 years ago when it had sat for a much longer period of time, and it was the plugs, but after running for a while it would eventually fire up and run like it should.

I'm thinking it's the plugs, anything else I should be careful of? The last time it was out it ran beautifully and kept hitting my top speed of 65.4 on GPS (the highest to date set earlier this year).

Hate to say it but sounds like another ceramic s/c failure to me.

Oh please don't say that....I don't have the extra cash to drop on that right now...I'm going to try the plugs since that worked last time this type of thing happened. But if it does end up being the washers, I'll be done riding for a while.

You might as well pop off the air intake and check if it spins freely while ure putting on the plugs.

That's what I'm planning on doing. If it's the worst case scenario, the ski is getting pulled off the lake, and will be sitting for a while in the garage until I get it all taken care of. I'll be re-doing the SC right with a new impellar and washers...hopefully that gets to wait until the winter instead of in the middle of my season!

did the ski sound like it was bogging down and did it ideal rough? if you fouled a plug you should be able to tell, i just had to replace the plugs on a buddys RXT but I new it was missing on one cylinder it would clear up after you ran it for awhile

I really didn't hear about that until this past off season. I just haven't had the money in all honesty to replace them. I know it could be much worse if these have gone through the motor. But we'll find out in a few hours when I get out to the marina.
