    Pros or Cons?

OP asked about pros and cons. I take that as comparing the good and maybe not so good of Lithium against one of the best in non-Lithium battery options, which would be Deka AGM.

Lithium is light weight and has strong starting power, when used on an engine that is not difficult to start. AGM battery is quite heavy and has strong starting power, across all engines, even the recalcitrant ones.

Both can be reliable, with high quality AGM proven to be robust even in difficult conditions.

BD, Do you seal the edges with silicone? I used black permatex just for a little insurance to keep the moisture out

Super jealous of your sponsorship.. I was just about to order one but I've got a brand new Yuasa sitting in a box. Maybe it can get me thru riding season

    I have
Shorai batteries in 3 motorcycles and a Buick Grand National. I will be installing one in my FX SVHO at the end of this season.

One word of caution. If you permanently install their charging extension cable, make SURE you get their new water proof version. The original version can get water in the connectors and short out, causing a melt down or possibly worse. For a watercraft it's probably best not to install the extension cable unless you need to charge the battery.

Which model will you be putting in the FX?

I haven't even investigated that far yet. But since there not much to power other than the starter it shouldn't need to be the largest one. Probably just one of the middle sized ones or which ever one I find on sale at the time.
