Depth Finder on RXT
I hope you can help with a couple of questions............
1. Can the Seadoo depth finder found on the LTD's be fitted to a 2005 RXT?
2. When looking at the image of the depth finder on the Seadoo website (part no 295500962), it shows an image of the instrument cluster and a depth reading. What do you actually get in the kit for your money?
3. Assuming the kit can be fitted to an RXT, is it something that can be done at home or should it be fitted at the workshop?
4. Finally, can I buy this part from your store, Jerry?
Thanks in advance!

yes the rxt and rxp both can use the depth transducer.
on your rxt it will mount in the back left right aside of the waterbox theres a circle already there for it.
with a basic knoledge of electrics anyone can doo it themself.
if you even installed a radio you can install this.
but you will probbly have to have it turnned on in the buds.
heres some install instructions

rapid is on the money.. you can buy the kit and install it yourself, then swing by your local dealer and have them activate it via the BUDS computer system.

if you want the OEM depth finder from BRP, you are gonna have to purchase it from a dealer or someone who can get you BRP parts like richard.
other bad part is, the retail price of it is higher than what seadoo has listed on their website... i guess they never adjsuted the accessories prices?
