    Getting boat back on trailer...

I have a 2007 sea doo speedster 150 155hp, and I tow it with a jeep grand cherokee laredo 4x4. It seems that everyime I'm done boating am loading the boat back onto the trailer, that once i hook the wench on and am winding the boat in, it seems to go under that round rubber part that its supposed to sit on top of (the nose of the boat). Does this mean im going too far in the water with the jeep... or not enough? Any tips?

I believe the strap/hook goes under the V roller and the boat`s Bow eye sits directly under it.
I`ll have to take another look at lenny`s SD Boat again...PR...

Sorry, yes the strap does go under, but it doesnt pull the nose high enough to get over the rubber wheels....

    I`m confused, which/what rubber wheels?
the only SD boat trailer I`m familiar with is the bunk type with one bow roller on the winch stand...PR...

yea i think you are going too far into the water.. that happend to me the first time i took out the ski and my dad was driving the car... the way i do it is.... just the last two inches or so of the bunkers in the water. then i ride it up and the nose stays up.

Yep, too deep; just back in to where the trailer wheel fenders are just touching the water.

    Two things to adjust:
    1. The bow stop/winch is too high on the front or
    2. The buncks are adjusted poorly with a "down hill" attitude on the trailer frame.

Oh Hey...you could be in too deep. with an empty trailer I like to leave 12-18" of the buncks out of the water.

Yeah you are going to deep with the trailer. What's happening is the stearn of the boat is still floating off the bunks. 2 solutions, don't back in so far or don't pull the boat all the way up until you have the trailer out of the water. Just leave 4 or 5 inches between the boat and roller and MAKE SURE the the rachet on the winch is locked so that the boat doesn't slide off as you pull out. I know that sounds like common sense but I have seen several boats slide off the trailer when the lock rachet popped loose. Karl

Yup Your To Deep With The Trailer

I had the same problem...Just like said above just back in to the water untill your fenders are just touching the water. If your fenders are under water your way to deep.
