State Farm NOT the RXP
I have insurance through the May Agency and love it but thought I'd go ahead and give State Farm another try to see if they're more competitive this year (and since I have everything else insured through them). Well last year they were just too expensive and offered less coverage. This year I was told that a memo just came out on May 12th saying that the 215 horsepower (RXP) was too much of a risk to insure and that it reaches speeds of "70 to 85 mph." I had to correct her on the speed but it was a moot point. I asked what would happen to others that are currently insured with this PWC through State Farm and she didn't have an answer.
Just a FYI.

i have state farm for my rxp and it's $284 a year with $500 deductible, $100,000 liability, 9500 on ski and 1000 on trailer and 1000 medical payments to others.

Do you dare call them and ask? I would like to get insurance through them and she said it was a memo that came out just last week, well 2 Thursdays ago. They have to send these out to underwriters and before they even looked at it they told her that the RXP is not insurable through them. I know it's not me because I have no tickets.

He's right, they won't insure the rxp. I just talked to my agent. But I am okay. As long as im not racing with it I am fine... lol

Yeah Mike - you're claused in you lucky bastard! I did ask if they were going to "bow out of the PWC insurance" because the horsepower and speeds will only be increasing. Of course the minimum wage hottie just looked at me like I ordered something not on the value menu.

Yeah well try to insure a 360 Modena or an RSV 1000 when your license is not even 3 years old and you're not US citizen...
It's a lot of fun.
