I believe this question has been asked a few times recently and in different ways..I don't think anyone has an answer and I don't think anyone has tried it. You could be the 1st to do it Usually people see a 100 rpm gain in going from 3" to 4" and then another 100 rpms going from a front to a rear intake. My theory is the difference would equal out to 0 gain or loss when going from 3" rear to 4" front. The only difference may be heat fade because the front intake is sucking in warmer air. I'm no expert so don't quote me on this info

You mean like these pics? Is it the same up front on the rxp as the rxt?
I got 80-100rpm gain over the riva 3" running it either way shown in the pics.

    gee, what about this?

"Would I Gain Or Loose Rpm&power If I Make A Custom 4' Intake That Went All The Way To The Front Over The Gas Tank?anyone Done This With Some Feed Back Would Help! Thanks."

Where is the rear setup you have now getting it's air? From inside the hull or the vent? I dunno about the RXT setup on the rear intakes. I was showing area above the tank like he was asking about.

I asked the same questions at one time or another.

    Nothing definitive was the concensus.

    "...volume, cold volume"

    I hope that helps.
