    FreeFlow back to Sound Supression?

Has ANYONE had a problem on a modified GPR with going back to sound suppression, a problem like detonation, less performance, or anything else? I'm being noticed way too much at my lake when doing early morning testing, and besides, I'm kinda tired of the noise. Whats the current thought here? Thanks

    What are your mods?

You should be fine though. Plenty of guys running compression, more timing and sound suppression together. Just run 93 octane.

Believe it or not but I wrapped the FF with an old exaust hose split and tied and it was almost as quite as the SS. Another suggestion is to use the 1300 FF hose. It is one piece from waterbox to outlet and is very quite compared to the aluminum tube.

with your group-k stuff i would be cautious with the 1200r SS,,,i think you would be safe with a 1300r water box and 1300r SS they are quite different if youve not looked at one,,they are bigger on the 1300 and appear to have a much larger air capacity.

The 1300 silicone free flow tube is still noisy, but at least it won't leave your ears ringing. The combination of the 1300 ff and JetWorks mod is the quietest thing I've found (at midrange where the noise is worst) short of the stock sound supression.

The 1300 water box is quieter. I run it with a PCV freeflow and its tolerable.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that's with the 1200 waterbox. The 1300 waterbox was too spendy for me to test for noise level.

Philip - I wish I could still get that Sunoco Ultra 94 here.
