What do you find in the filter???
Just did an oil change on the RXP. 86 hours on it. 28 since last oil change.
Was inspecting the oil filter and found lots of little metal particles in between the pleats. Put a magnet to it, and they didn't move, so I am assuming it is aluminum. NORMAL? you guys find the same?
I used Amsoil on the last oil change and it was toast after 28 hours. I also sucked out close to 4 quarts. Don't remember getting that much out last time. I believe the blow by gases that don't go to the catch can, raise the oil level after time.
Anybody going longer than 25 hours between changes, on a modded ski, is:

I don`t know the history of your ski Steve, but I found metals both steel and alum when the oil pumps were grinding themselves up...
are you saying your last oil used fared better than the Amsoil that was in there now?
remember with more mods and more boost you will have more fuel dilution, and most likely anyone that has modded the ski`s are pushing them harder.
I would like to know how many hours can a modded 4-tec run hard?...PR...

I am not saying the Amsoil is better or worse. I am saying after 28 HARD hours, it is dark, nasty, fuel infested, smegma.

i tore my motor apart couple weeks ago that i busted a rod bearing in...
took the oil pumps of and the head off, and tilted the motor sideways into a bucket... it was the most black-ish grey fuel diluited oily mixture ever... could not have been healthy... i think a lawn mower woulda loved burning the mixture that came out of my crank case
but this can't be normal in my opinion, or is it? then again, my motor did just about blow up so my oil is not a good candidate for typical running conditions, lol.... there's alot of people getting extremely large amounts of fuel into the crankcase... is this from a rich condition? is it from large amounts of boost? or a combination of the two letting it pass by the rings?
