Think I can beat em'
I got a buddy who has a stock xp, I have an RXP with the resonator and a custom 4" front intake. he wants to race this spring. Think I can beat him? he might weigh 110 soaking wet and I weigh about 240. I figure I can but just wanting some reassurance.

If he's stock you got him whipped!

If it's flat or a light chop you'll destroy him.

it is a 97 model. No its not Shibby he's from KY. He thinks he's got me beat. Haven't tested my intake yet, too cold. I hope it doesn't cavitate. If so can you repitch my imp. Jerry? How much do you charge? Can I expect to get a mph increase out of the intake?

A 97 XP will do 55/56 at best, a stock RXP with a blown clutch will do low 60s, if you don't smoke him you will be a laughing matter.

give him a head start and throw in a bad wear ring in your RXP.... u'll do fine

It's about time you answered this one shibbster lol, and throw a bad wear ring in your rxp
I think he is reassured now that he will beat him more likely he will humiliate him.

can't wait until spring so I can shut him up. All he talks about is how fast it is. I have ran into several people with stock XP's that think they are the sh*t
