    Pro 785 Rod Interchangability

I have been looking for hours on this subject and cant find any absolute answers. Is there another Fuji engine that uses the same rod? From what I can find is the crank is specific to the 785 but no one can tell me about the rods.

    Any help is appreciated..

    Thanks

    Lee

I was under the impression the cranks were the same, but the 785 rods were longer.

it is possible you are correct. i was on the other site and that was what i got from it. they said that the stroke was different, wiseco says the same thing so that is why i figured the crank was different..

technically the crank is different. It uses longer rods, so it's different from another Fuji, meaning not interchangeable.

longer rods? IF the 785 stroke is 3mm more than a 780...then the rods would have to be shorter ..to use the same height cylinder..

Here you go bro. http://www.atlanticpowersports.com/n...anufacturer=14 Pro is 69.7mmx68mm stroke. A 780 is 71.3mmx65mm stroke.
