    Bang-a-rang Peter

    Can you do anything for me here guys or should I just buy new????

    This was on a 03 GP1300R with a stage 1 kit that gets ridin mainly in rough water.

    That's totally repairable back to new specs. We get those all the time. Cost looks like $75.00. If you decide not to have it repaired, please send it in and I'll give you credit for it.

    In the shape that it's in, it's probably worth $25.00. We'll have to put time and labor into it, then sell it as used.

    Okay then I will be sending it out to you tomorrow for repair. It installs on my 03' GP1300R with a stage 1 kit. Would it be best to repitch it? Maybe to that 13/20 I read about on your website? What is the advantage to a race finish?

    Yes, I would have us pitch it to the 20 while it's here if you want to maximize speed. It'll pull the 20 and you'll likely see about 1.5 mph gain. Our race finish is a very smooth, textured finish that we apply during the balancing process. I like this finish best for speed.
