    10 hour service

i was just told by the Seadoo Stealership that the 10 hr service costs $210. What for the love of god do they do? whats the oil cost 30? What else occurs that costs 180 bones? Do i have to go through the dealer so that i dont void the warranty?

Yeah, mine was $250 but I bought the service agreement. Best I can tell they just change the oil... Total ripoff...

No you don't. Just do a through check of your motor compartment; check hoses and clamps, make sure you follow oil change guidelines and you'll be fine..

Do it yourself and keep the receipts of the oil and filter you purchased.

I had the stealership do the 10 hr service, $250 and all what they did was an oil change. I just bought an oil vac and will do my next oil change. I spent $55 for oil and filter.

I got mine for $127. Sadly $72 was mechanic pay.

I think around $200 isn't too bad considering I know a stealership in the DC area that took a friend of mine for just over $400 for guess what...changing a wear ring! I told him I'd do it for half of that next time he needed one changed! Should I tell him it can be done in under an hour and cost $40 or so?!?!?!

A friend just had his 10 hr done. I just installed metal washers for him. The coupler on the waterbox was loose, the tie that holds up the bailers on the exhaust hose was loose, basically they changed the oil and looked at NOTHING else. 200 bucks..

    Unhappy

Here, a ten hours service costs about 230 €..., About 300 $... And I agree with you...I think it's fairly expensive for just oil changing...
