    Aftermarket bars w/OEM grips ???

I read everything I could about bars over the last few days.

I started disassembly this evening but noticed my new bars dont have the threaded ends like the OEM ones do. How do I screw the OEM grips on ? Is there another piece I need to buy or is the assumption aftermarket grips are going to be used ?

Woody...do they make any aftermarket grips that have the 02' Blue GPR color as accents? Just curious...

Woody are those 7/8" bars? I have the R&D steering and mine takes the 1-1/8" bars

would they work with the stock trim? or is it just 1-1/8" at the neck?

mine are 7/8" Pro Tapers... very sweet.

Dave - You will have to shop around, but I think Scott makes a nice blue that may match your ski nicely.

mrbtd - you may have to get plugs to uinstall, like ODI, but aftermarket grips are so comfy for me...

yep. the stock trim will work.
all bars are 7/8 at the grips. The 1-1/8 is the stem portion.

I have seen this thread and honestly it is what inspired me to do this. Thanks for the time you took to take pics etc...

Is there not a way to use the OEM grips though ?
