The RE's cover the opening in the hull left by the fins. The plates in the removal kit simply cover the bolt holes left by the fins. The RE's will stop porpoising. The plates most likely will do close to nothing besides change the turning of the ski since the OPAS will be gone.

ditto: and the RE`s benefit is also that they lengthen the hull and help stabilize handling etc...PR...

are you experiencing porpoising? if not, then go with your budget and just get the BO plates, all of us used then for a long time until the Riva pro`s and the RE`s came along...PR...

    Call me crazy.

The opas rods go through tubes to the nozzle. There are no seals or bellows. So, if you just remove the opas parts, there shouldn't be a hull leak, right?
