    3 blade VS 4 blade cavitation?

    OK, stock 4 blade and re-pitched stock 4 blade had zero cavitation...
    I just installed another skat 16\21 3 blade and if you hit it more than 1/2 throttle it will cavitate and the asss end of the ski kinda shudders...what`s up with that?...

    if you gradually come up on plane then increase throttle it is fine...PR...

    My heavily modded 3 blade hits the chip 4 times to my stock 4 blade 2 times.... I dunno? I'm stickin to the stock 15/20 4 blade....

    I had this happen when I thickened the bars on the intake grate.

    My 3 blade is VERY strong out of the hole, I do have a 15/20 4 blade but it does not have as good of a holeshot

    if it shudders, that's an indicator that one blade may be off pitch, cavitating is too.

    well I have posted the question before, maybe you can check on impeller leading edge, but what if its off ? its been clearly explained how to check on the trailing edge but I leading edge is something a lot dont like to talk about or dont have the knowledge to comment. Trailing edge is simple just mark 1 inch from the end of the blade then measure with a ruler from the table to the blade, but what about the leading edge how or where to measure for using a ruler to check if all blades are at the same length when measured

    Yes I have the SS wear ring along with the skat modded pump. with this 16\21 3 blade i have .009 clearances at all points. That sounds good to me...
    When I had more power with this prop I had no issues. now that almost all stock components are back in the ski I`m experiencing cav with this prop ...PR...
