Put her in. Get bout 100 foot from ramp, notice back end is under water. Pull her out. 8" of water in the hull. pouring in around the driveshaft.
Engine gets water in it. engine doesnt turn over. I call Jay at Formy one, talk for about 5 hours total. He walks me through cleaning the engine, engine bay, changing the oil, getting water outy of engine.
6 oil changes later she is clean, runs great.
Gotta bring her to the closest dealer to fix the seal.
Not how i wanted the day to go, but....i learned how to change oil!!!

wow... That really sucks. How in the hell did that happen? Lucky that you did notice it early enough to get back. Otherwise your RXT would be a submarine now.

I'd never step foot in that dealer again. way to make a customer for life
I'd fight for something like free warranty or something

Now now, lets not point fingers. This is something that is probably an isolated incident and however unfortunate is probably not the fault of the dealer. Formula One is where Shibby works and seems to be reputable. They've also showed that they can support the customer over the phone now lets sit back and see how else they deal with it. Pettee i feel for ya man thats very dissapointing and i hope things work out for you.

This should be worth the dealer delivering your new ski to you in exchange for the POS that SANK on its maiden vouage.
I would not accept less than a complete replacement. (plus registration fees). delivery should be worth it to them to get this ski.
