Building a 4" Front Air Intake

Ok guys, I am building my 4" air intake, and can not descide on an air filter. I am all for the K&N air filter but where it will be located is a pain to get to. I found a couple of other filters which do not require oil.

    Spectra Stainless Steel Mesh Filter

    or

    AEM DRYFLOW Air Filter

    Has anybody tried either one?

I would not go with that aem. It looks like it would hold water. Id go wit the spectra and put and outwears on it. Lots of people are running that filter with zero problems now.

My local Autozone has the Spectra filter instock for $40 and it looks to be what I am looking for but wanted to ask before I bought it.

Go spectra & use the adapters that come with it for your 3" to 4" adapter for the SC. I ran the rxp blast adapter & then realized the spectra adapters might work & they do!
