    The Place For Cracklins.

Ok guys, For those of you heading West out of Lafayette, take exit 97, which is hwy 93. Go North
About one to one and a half miles from the interstate is a place called The Best Stop. It's on the left, or west side. It's a small country meat market/corner store.

God as my witness, you won't find them better anywhere else.
And, if one of you Houston fellas, that are comming through Channelview, would be so kind as to pick me up a pound, I'd be your new best friend.

    Pm me for contact info.

I've never been there, but vendors occasionally bring us bags of cracklins from there. Best I've ever had. I gained 35 pounds in the first year and a half after I moved here from west Texas (eating cracklins, boudin, etouffee, etc), but loved every minute of it.
