I forgot about this. I am looking forward to seeing the outcome! I will hopefully have my finances in order soon so I can buy some.

I was there to verify it.. A soild 1mph gain.. I rode with Ross alot over the weekend and saw the results myself.Unbiased opinion here. I believe the staring numbers were 77.9 and turned into 78.9 with the mod. Watched him take his ski apart and there were several witnesses...

If you ever meet Ross you would know he is no bullshitter. The man is a straight up person in my opinion. Good people, he has no reason to lie about stuff. I was going to get this mod done, but I am probably going to wait till september when I decide to tear down the ski and get more work done to it. Right now its middle of summer and time to enjoy it,

What a weekend. Just got home, 13 hours each way and worth every second of the drive.
Quik recap of the T-body swap... All went very well. Fridays rpms and speeds were low, like everyone elses, heat and humidity were off the scale.
2-2.5 down on speed was the general consensus from everyone i spoke too.
First runs friday were around noon. Top speed i could gps was 77.9.
Top rpm recorded was 7223. Rpms generally stayed right at 7180-7200 on multiple passes.
Want to Diorons boat ramp and loaded the ski at 1pm. Swapped the throttle bodies in 1.5 hours in front of many many people. Should be several pics posted soon of the swap happening.
Was back on the water by 3pm..
Top speed went right up to 78.9
Top rpm recorded was 7259.
Rpms generally hovered in the 7240-7250 after the swap, even after a heat soak...
My rpm gains were less than others have reported, but im spinning a 15/25.5 prop on an 85 nozzle so it makes sense.. Top speed gain of 1 mph was just as others reported also..
The very next day, with literally identical conditions, i went a 79.0 on the radar gun. Ended up in 3rd place in the efi class, but number 1 and 2 were power valve motors if that matters. Sleepless went 82.3, WFO went 80.4 i think...
This event blew away my expectations... If you have never been. GO. If you have, you will return... Thanks Jerry for letting us all use your bayou playground for the weekend..Ross
