J-me knows for sure, but I think rev B is the best one. I've seen them go for 250-450 average.

rev c was the latest one it has the most updates but they all perform well- i got my rev c for $325 from a board member which is pretty good considering the supply and demand-mark

    Cool Cool

Now We're getting somewhere on these sucka's..!!

OK so not really anything to worry about as to the version..??

Rev: a,b, or c will get the job done then..??

    That's pretty good to know,.
Next question guys what would be a sensible rev limit to set.. 7400/500..??

Don't really think these engines would last to long at 9000 rpm...!!!

Plus one jetski with factory pipes is quite enough i think..!!! (GP1200R)

The gp1200 will be my wave jumper again when its back together..!!

    cheers guys...

I forgot to tell you I was looking at buying one.
Just struck a deal for a Riva Rev a box.
Price is confidential as I plan to resell if I can sell my skis.
Now I have an ignition carbs a domed head 14/20 J solas and triple pipes.
What was I thinking I thought I was going back to stock .
Its a major tease I cant even aford pump gas

bubba at riva has me setting mine at 7800rpm's-i would think you would be the same since you are wave jumping and come unhooked often-dont want to be constantly banging the limiter-mark

If you plan on spinning over 7050 rpm as in 7400-7500rpm on a tripple pipe you need a welded crank.
Once you have that you should have no problem spinning 8000 rpm without it doing strange things.
I would not recomend 8000 rpm for more than a few seconds ever but some do.
It will be interesting to see what rpm and pitch Mark can turn with the new motor.
